Dia de Asturias

11 September 2019

On the day of Asturias we will be teaming up with our good friends at Estrella Galicia to celebrate two great neighbouring regions of northern Spain, Asturias and Galicia. These regions with their cool, wet climates are responsible for some incredible produce from the blue cheese of the Picos de Europa, Asturian Sidra and the Pulpo of Galicia both regions have incredible culinary provenance. With our 6 course tasting menu we will aim to showcase the very best these regions have to offer.

Dia de Santiago

Every year on St James Day pilgrims gather in the city of Santiago de Compostela to celebrate its biggest festival of the year: Dia de Santiago This year Pilgrim will be holding its own festival, starting on Thursday 25th July with a six course tasting menu inspired by the 800km Camino Frances or "French Way". starting in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port located in the French Pyrénées and travelling through Pamplona, Burgos, Leon and on to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. The festival continues into Friday and Saturday with a special a la carte menu dedicated to the Basque region and Gallicia and Sunday will see the festival out with flowing cava and a whole suckling pig roasting on our grill.
